Jonno

Well it appears i may have been wrong! Please note MAY have been.I am not churlish enough to wade through all the postings as i think taking the views of others on this board will be more productive. The comment by jonno about losing all he had,i do not understand this and indeed do not really want to.Its his business. However an apology in its proper sense will NOT be forthcoming as when i have gave him one before he held it up like a trophy to be used in later verbal dust-ups.Jonno regarding your dreams/wishes on derby days,i agree totally with you.Tell you what,if you win get to the Bay Horse on Whickham front street about 2 hours after the final whistle and see how much humble pie i will have to eat! That should cheer you up.Roll on Saturday when thoughts of football proliferate.

"Roll on Saturday when thoughts of football proliferate."

I second that one.

Sorry, can't do the italic thingy.

Hey Pete, I thought you were against replying to the Mackems...

Thankyou SK. Best not to single me out for special attention in future, or, if you do wish to attack me, be much more sure of your facts.

I'm surprised and pleased that you share my views about derby days. Surprised because it's way out of line with your early postings on here. Each and every one of us has to stand up and be counted in this struggle (against the barbarians-be they Magpies or Mackems) and that means the offer of friendship at every available opportunity, and the total absence of abuse.

You will have noticed that this forum consists of an ace bunch of people (there's nothing wrong with vicars!) and we have always stressed that all (who behave themselves) are welcome. You'll enjoy it here if you continue in the proper spirit.

Enjoy your relegation season

Jonno :-)

Ah!! It brings a tear to me eye!!! Glad to see were all friends again!!

Now doesn't that feel better? smiles all round. Well done to soops for offering the "I may have been wrong" and well done to jonno for standing up for his principles and taking the "I may have been wrong" statement in his stride and not throwing it away. Mags and makems don't ya just love 'em (except the makems of course;-)

Nick, I'm only against responding to the odd idiot (take that as a compliment Superkev.) You know, the one who has absolutley nothing to contribute other than foul language and incessant rantings. Give Kev a little credit, he started badly, but then I must admit he is a helluva a lot better these days.

Maybe i could be like Warren Barton though.Start badly, get better, then plummet to new depths.I am a complicated character on my good days and they are few and far between! But like Dracula i have my weaknesses.Hold up a toon shirt, marzipan or polystrene and i back away in terror! I feel today could be a bad day as i am NOT happy about the hutchinson situation. To lose a player in current form that he shows is a major loss.Might benefit you lot though!

So what's with Hutchinson then...no news at this end of the world.

-- Anonymous, August 15, 2001

He is rumoured to be on his way to West Ham because his cockney wife can't settle in the North East. That always amazes me, half of us on here live half way around the world. I live in a country where I don't speak the language and can't read most of it and have done for five and a half years. And she can't settle 300 miles away from home.

kegsy marra, I think most people would rather live in Tokyo than Sunderland, even SK himself!?

;7)

Well, god bless him, at least it's not rumoured yet that perhaps he was doing Mrs. SuperKevin. (That would be the real Mrs SK, not yours soopa K) :-))

-- Anonymous, August 16, 2001

By the way, as much as it may irk my friends on this BBS, I would love it, just love it, if we signed Hutchinson. Why? you may ask, attitude. The lad has attitude. He likes to win. That's why.

and it would pi$$ the mackems off

-- Anonymous, August 16, 2001

But his missus would still be 300 miles from home, although a lot closer to the airport, as the City of Newcastle does have one of these unlike the "City" of Sunderland. :-)

-- Anonymous, August 16, 2001

....ot to mention MacDonalds, eh Jonno ;-))

-- Anonymous, August 16, 2001

....or was it KFC?? :-(

-- Anonymous, August 16, 2001

Ah yes, KFC.

For those not in the Troyes Story Clique, Screacher's cousin DangerousDave pointed out that Sunderland is the only city which lacks, an airport, a mainline station AND a KFC.

So, do we conclude that Mrs H likes to travel to Lahndaan by rail or air while eating Kentucky Fried Cardboard? Put in a bid at once, Bobby.
