I have decided amongst all the negativity on here - I know we rarely get things to be positive about - that I predict a 2-1 victory against Chelsea.

I did also think that we would finish top 8 last season so dont be surprised if I'm wrong. BUT I WONT BE.

Well said Alan. I'm tiring of becoming almost the lone voice of support on here and am all for resting from this forum which is increasing my (already dangerous) levels of depression.

Chelsea have a load of new players and it may take a while for them to gel. They had a bad start last season. We are due a win in London and have some quality players (although I start to doubt that myself when I read the posts here.)

We have every chance at Master Bates Motel on Sunday.

Howay man Jonno - lighten up. I'll be delighted if Toon get anything out of Sunday's game (which BTW, you're welcome to come and watch roon wor gaff if you've nowt better to do). But having witnessed the last 3 games, I have to say I'll be very surprised. especially without Solano, Speed (possibly) and Ameeobi (possibly). But then of course, we have Cort almost ready to return and Shearer waiting in the wings to die for NUFC (some might say again) and we have LoLo to make his Premiership debut. Hey, maybe we will get something out of the game - but I'd rather we did it on Tuesday and a week on Sunday instead. Ee, you get a lovely view of the pigs from up here.
