Has anyone recently had to put together a justification for purchasing a new DBMS? If so, would you be willing to share with the group how you compared and contrasted the features and functionality of the major vendors (IBM DB2, Oracle9i, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, and perhaps Sybase ASE 12.5)?

And were you satisfied with your final decision? If so (or even if not) why?
