Back to your question - unfortunately the same old answer still stands. Our striker crisis is expected only to be short term, while the same old glaring weaknesses remain in defence and in the middle of the park for us to be able to justify the 10-15 mill it would take to prise Robbie away. Great acquisition for somebody - just not NUFC right now

But if we had somebody like him to put away the goals it would surely remove a lot of pressure from the defence and midfield. Remember our defence under Keegan wasn't that good (not as bad as the press made out, but not that good) and we were the 4th or 5th defence in thecountry, possibly because our forwards and midfield were so good.
Just a thought anyway - he will probably go to Chelsea and link up with Hasslebaink.
