I am looking for info on James Madison Thompson who was born in Stanly Co. in Oct 1859. His death certificate states that his father was King Thompson and his mothers maiden name was Nichols.

Hi Judy, I don't know if it is the same or not but I have a J M Thompson b. abt 1857 m. Dora Sherril, and his father was D. K Thompson. DK was married to Elizabeth A ???. JM Thompsons siblings are Robert Webb, Henry Clay, David K. Might they be whom you seek?
