Lars,

Heh. "InfoWars." In response, I'll repost (for the zillionth time) a link to George Smith, since he covers that.

As a matter of fact, I emailed your link to George and we had a nice chuckle over it.

I gotta admit, though, Jones takes it several steps farther than most: he believes that the Worldwide NWO/Illuminati conspiracy is behind the thing!

But it IS hard to take seriously someone who can't tell left from right ...

(Hint: look at his photo pages.)

HIDE DE CHILLUNS. THEY ARE BEIN' "PRE-CONDITIONED".........

Alex Jones Presents
"

" Because there's a WAR on for your MIND "

Here they are.... exclusive photos of "U.S. Army Cobras" in a North Austin, Texas school yard.  "Conditioning for the Children." See the nice men in the helicopters.... they are here to help you....
thanks to Sean for the photos.
InfoWars has great respect and love for  United States Military Personal, but with Russian troops invading Annist on Alabama (12-15 March 99) accompanied by the elite Nightstalkers of the 160th and Army Special Forces Rangers and  Operation Last Dance in South Texas (8 -20 Feb 99)  where towns like Kingsville, Texas  where  buildings were severely damaged and set ablaze  by the action.   Local law enforcement were not even notified!  Not to mention dozens of other training exercises conducted by this and other branches of the US Military.  And to top it all off - The exclusive photos of Operation Urban Warrior from California, where the United States Marine's in conjunction with troops from 5 other nations, set up "concentration camps" and performed gun confiscation.  All while  working together with local law enforcement.  With all of this information to consider and now we are receiving reports from literally hundreds of people with confirmation with these photos ..... it does not look good....  to have military helicopters landing in school yards as part of an obvious desensitization  and indoctrination  of our youth.  It should be obvious to all, military helicopters "invading" our neighborhoods are real and are the strike force for the new world order.

Cobra on final for school yard in North Austin..... note residential area below.

Cobra helicopter stirring up dust in school play ground.  This helicopter is equipped to "take out" the whole neighbourhood, if so ordered.

The colors are the same - The new black and grey, urban warfare colors.  But this is painted this way for Kosovo.... right?

Conditioning for "the children."

Get used to seeing these in your school yard - they make great landing fields.  Recess cancelled today.

This is just like Mom's Suburban, only it flies.....  right?

Insanity alright, hahaha dumbass.

Keep digging, just maybe you will find the Alex Jones video where he politely asks Dubya at a campaign rally, why he is a member of the CFR and is summarily escourted out of the building by SS thugs packing mini-14s. Course that too is made-up bs, correct? "There ought be limits to Freedom"

Face it dickwad, you have no reply to the Bohemian Grove info and resort to character assassination. Jones is an easy target, DUH.

This ridiculous cut and paste mess is the exact reaction the scum of this world are counting on. They expect their little MEMES to stamp out any who would dare say their leaders are Clowns.

Go look at the Bohemian photos sitting on UC Berkeley. Go read the Sac Bee article. Now what are you gunna do?

Truth is, no matter what you do, you still have the issue of World Leaders meeting in private under a 50 foot statute of an Owl. A gathering they do not want publicised. For good reason as you can understand. Better to let their MEMES whitewash any who would dare expose their "event" as NWO whackos or worse.

Not to worry sapo, word has it they have tired of Bohemian now as the event is no longer that popular. Attendance ain't what it used to be. Might want to ask yourself why that maybe.

Doc,

George doesn't concentrate on Jones' claims, but he has links to sites that do. He DOES address the "infowar" aspect, which Jones also gets into.

I *have* looked into some of his evidence. The thing about the Cobra helicopters (which CPR posted above) is proof that the man is a nut. I lived most of my life near a military base (Ft. Bragg, NC) and things like this were commonplace. Whenever there was a fair or a festival, we'd sometimes ask the 82nd to bring over a tank or a helicopter for the kids to "ooo" and "aah" over.

Shoot, we used to have Armed Forces Day every summer when I was a kid. We got to fiddle with M16s, sit in (then top of the line) M60 tanks, walk through helicopters, even take rides around town in jeeps. IT was fun.

(It was eventually discontinued, though, both for financial reasons and because some of the old biddies in town complained about the "correctness" of such a thing. A shame.)

This one series of photos above actually causes me to suspect that Jones is an outright FRAUD. He very well may be carefully selecting photos, camera angles and interviews to *CREATE* ( <- don't miss that word! ) the *IMPRESSION* of an Evil, Underground Gubbmint Conspiracy To Deny Our Civil Rights.

Hey, the far-out right wingnuts have money, Bobo. He's going after it. "Buy my video!" Do you wonder that I suspect that his images of that Owl are a COMPLETE FABRICATION?

The pictures above were taken at an expo of military equipment to school children. Those copters were there because the school officials *ASKED* for them. Either Jones is insane or an outright FRAUD, IMNHO.

You tell me, is that not an OWL birdbath thingee? And I can assure you the background ain't a tree. I have been to the Redwoods and the Russian River, that ain't no tree.

What does it mean? Not sure, but it is interesting once one digs into the deal with owls a bit.

Doc,

You ignored the *FACT* that his stuff about the "evil helicopters" is either outrageous paranoia or plain ol-fashioned FRAUD. That one FACT alone should cause any reasonable person to doubt his motives and/or sanity (or -- as was the case with poor Jim Lord -- both).

I didn't say that there was no owl. I said that his *take* on the pictures, the way that he presented the images and carefully edited his film, is very likely either a FRAUD or the result of clinical paranoia.

Hey, there's one camp that I know of that has a giant statue of an indian on the grounds. Suppose some people made a campfire around that indian. Suppose they dressed up in strange costumes for some silly but time-honored ritual. (Sort of like Civil War re-enactors, who wear period costumes and fire REAL, honest-to-b'golly CW-era field pieces.)

It would be *EASY* for me to make a video with dark narration about how they were "worshipping the indian and What He Stands For." Man, I could have a FIELD DAY with that. Can't you see that?

But the whole thing would stem either from my paranoia (ie, borderline insanity) or from a DELIBERATE desire to DEFRAUD some gullible people of their money.

"See? SEE? This is PROOF of what I'm saying, Faithful Believers! Now ... *ahem* ... you can get a COPY of this film to convince your neighbors for the REASONABLE FEE of just $19.95 + S&H ..."

Doc Paulie, the same guy who saw through the muck and memetics of Y2K can't see the SAME THING AT WORK in this sort of garbage?

It really is true: the world offers a fresh surprise with each new day.

No I SEE thru the "paranoia", be clear on that one.

I just think it is very bizarre and interesting these "world figures" would be involved in such things.

The videos are what they are. I think taken with the photos from other sources, it is very difficult just to say they are complete fabrication and the whole Bohemian thing so muc nonsense. No doubt the videos are creatively edited. No question Jones is selling an agenda and point of view. With all that said, the strange evidence still remains despite the source of the grainy videos.

As to the rest of Jones's offerings, yes they are the work of a looney bird. Although the ones showing him questioning GW and Janet reno are pretty funny if nothing else. At least Jones has the balls to go out and face these people.

Doc,

A lunatic doesn't need testicles; his psychosis will pinch-hit in most cases.

Compare this Jones' writings with those of Jim Lord. Better yet, let's revisit what N'arro had to say about Lord Jim during the Late, Great Y2K Debacle. I think there are some key parallels here.

Lord was a True Believer. Jones is a True Believer. Lord would try to understand things that he was not qualified to analyze. Jones does the same.

But worst of all is the acceptance, up front, of a premise -- in Lord's case, that Y2K *was* going to be bad, period; in Jones' case, that there is some secret worldwide conspiracy to destroy democracy and enslave the human race -- caused them to filter and distort all news received thereafter to fit that world view.

Same as with Lord, Jones considers any good news to be "spin;" any evidence that shatters his point of view is ignored, and bad news is accepted as truth; ANYTHING that supports the preconceived world view is accepted at face value.

Take the example of Jones walking up to Dubya and asking why he was a member of the CFR. He was actually thrown out because he wasn't an accredited journalist with permission (read: pre-admission background checks by the Secret Service, etc.) to be there in the first place.

But NATCHERLY, he spins that as: "Bush was uncomfortable. He had something to hide. He didn't want to answer the question." Of course.

Sheesh and Jeremiah Beak. The parallels here to Y2K paranoia as exhibited by poor, deluded Lord Jim And Co. are striking. MORE than striking. They're more than PARALLELS; it's the same tune, different lyrics.

I'm starting another thread about the "New World Order" as soon as I'm done here.

Stephen, I can't wait about your next "expose" on the New World Order. Can you through some "thought contagionation" stuff in for good measure?

Counting the minutes ...
