Flash 2350 for Sx70

greenspun.com : LUSENET : polaroid transfers : One Thread

Hi, i recently bought a polaroid 2350 flash which come with a 2352 bracket. The bracket should be screw in the sx70 through the tripod hole but there is no tripod hole in my camera. Also the flash just won't fit in the camera's socket. Can anyone help me with this, do i need to get an adapter to connect the flash on my camera or it just won't work with my sx70? Oh, i think the camera is a model 1, the front plate display "polaroid sx70 land camera".

Many thanks,

Daren

The 2350 flash is for a sonar model sx-70.

I have several flashes for your model of camera if your interested.

Which flashes do work with this model of SX-70 camera. ITT? Other?

Thanks, Bruce

Just about every other type of flash works fine. The ITT units seem to fetch a very high price..but I find the Focal (K-mart) units work just as well. Additionally the Focal units have a bi-level selector switch and cost about half as much. The only downfall is that they are large ( as large as the ITT) and screw into the tripod mount. Granted they have another screw hole at the bottom of the flash for the tripod but it doesn't lend itself to being installed or removed very quickly.
