How To Disable Friendly HTTP Error Messages In Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.X

Internet Explorer 5.x recognizes http error messages, for example "Error 404: Page not found," and then displays a friendly version of the error message. If you'd rather see the original error messages from the Web server you're accessing, you can turn off the friendly http errors feature. To do this, go to Tools|Internet Options. When the dialog box opens, click the Advanced tab. Now, deselect the check box labeled "Show friendly http errors" and click OK to close the dialog box and record your new selection.
