Does Any one Know about this Supposed transfer of Joseph Gaurdiola? and what do you think about him is he just a high wage askin 30 yr old with no legs or a great addition to our squad?????

There is a thread of the exact same name further down the answers page. Got little response. The guy's agent is touting him around the Premiership but nobody's biting yet. YBR is aware - if he wants him he'll get him for the right wages.

I'm not convinced D-l-F. I can't see Dyer and Bellamy in the same team. Both (IMHO) should play ahead of m/f but behind the striker(s). But I don't think we can afford the luxury (?) of both in the same team.

Tend to agree with Screach. From what I've seen so far I cant see Bellamy getting a game if Robert (making a big assumption here, of course!) and Dyer are fit.

However, this only serves to raise the question in my mind of why he was signed - as a contingency for Dyer bogging off is my guess.

Clarky, I'd like to hope that Bellamy was signed to strengthen the squad. Sadly, a £6M price tag is not a guarantee of top quality these days. We have an ageing (and injury prone) striker, and our other "main" striker has provd to be injury prone since his arrival (tho not before).

As you say, it might be as an insurance against Dyer going, but altho I don't believe they can play in the same team, I also don't think they are they same type of player.

It would be nice if we had the luxury of being able to rest one or two players and move others in or out as required. At this stage, our first eleven (when fit) seems to select itself - as witnessed by your mechanical selection process in the TeamPick last season ;-))
