Recycling Favorite T-shirts Instead of throwing out all of your old or outgrown T-shirts, make a memory quilt. Cut out the logos, lettering or designs that you want to save into squares. Then you can sew them into a quilt. It would make a great gift for a teen-ager.

Bobbing for a Light Have a hanging light cord in a dark closet or space that's hard to find? To end all that fumbling around, just tie a florescent fishing bob on the string. You'll be able to find it easily.

By the time I am ready to toss a t-shirt the logo is washed off and the stains are set in. LOL

I've known people that have used their baby's clothes which were outgrown. They saved the ones that they liked and made a quilt to present to the child. (Heck, I'd have to make two, one to give my son and one to keep!)
