Man, 33, Billed For Being In Nursing Home

Doctors send bills to patients they visit in nursing homes, but what if you are 33 years old and have never live in nursing home?

According to On Your Side Troubleshooter Chris Caswell, William Braman, 33, continuously received bills from his doctor, charging him for visits to a nursing home.

William tried everything he could to stop the bills.

"The first time I received a bill, I went down and they assured me it was just a billing error and that they were going to correct it," he said. "As you can see I got three more after that."

William was also concerned about the bills hurting his credit.

Five On Your Side contacted the Norton Family Practice and they said that there were two men in its system with the same name. They corrected the problem. They also assured Five On Your Side William's credit would not be harmed.
