Hi, Paul, Go to www.capitalpress.com. This is an on-line agricultural newspaper for Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Click on the want ads. You will notice that Western Washington is the highest prices, then Eastern Washington, then Idaho, and then Oregon. In my area northern Minnesota an open dairy heifer goes for around $1200. Bred heifers are going for $1700-1850. Cattle market is red hot for dairy stock.
