Hi Bob - My dad, Frank Ellinger, graduated in 1949. He regularly gets together with some other old Poly guys and has lunch.

You can contact him at frankhbell@cs.com

I know he has his yearbooks - maybe he can do some scans for you.

Regards, Chris Ellinger

Related question: I had my mom's high school ring from 1946 and it was recently stolen. Do you know anyone that would be willing to sell a ring from a similar (if not exact) year? I know it is a long shot but it meant a lot to me. Thanks.

Google for the exact phrase "____ high school" "class ring" and "1946" and you should be directed to seller sources and sites, including Ebay.

If you're in the San Francisco area, check with the SF Public Library main branch. They have copies of Poly yearbooks for virtually every year one was published. You'll be able to at least make copies of whatever pages you want.

Did Thomas Hearn Jr. Graudate from Poly in the early 40s? as in Thomas Hearn, the president of Wake Forest University? Please email me if you have any information...
