Am I correct in my understanding that a "Leica Day" event is an authorized Leica dealer's sponsorship of a special sale offering a 10% discount on new Leica merchandise? If so, is the discount in addition to any rebates offered by Leica? I would assume that this is the most cost-effective means of acquiring new Leica USA Passport gear? Does anyone know of a Leica Day being held within the next 3-4 weeks in the USA, and the dealer's name/address? Thanks.

I purchased equipment at the Leica days at Tamarkin and B&H Photo recently. The 10% Leica discount was in addition to the normal store discount and the $200. Leica rebate.
