The Gjensidige NOR Savings Bank was hardest hit with all 145,000 net banking customers unable to use technical services.
Other banks affected by the computer failure, which was still in effect Friday afternoon, include the Sparebank 1 group, two thirds of the Terra group, Nordlandsbank, Handelsbank, BN-bank and Storebrand Bank.
Customers can still use cash dispensers and automatic tills. Electronic services were expected to be out of action for all of Friday.
