Does anyone know if the detachable eyes of the 50'cron DR will correctly mount and operate on the TTL bodies?

Cheers.

Yes.

Apparently there was a problem on earlier M6's...

"Leica has confirmed that the DR will not mount on all M6, due to internal changes of the film chamber. Try the DR on your M6 before you buy it, if possible."

In addition to Bill's excellent advice, there is a tab on the eyes that will not allow you to mount them on a M6TTL or M5 camera. The purpose of the tab is to prevent you from accidentally trying to remove the lens with the eyes attached. As long as you promise to be good, you can just do what Leica recommended for the M5 and file the tab off.

My mistake. I should have said "it works fine on my early M6." Sorry for the misinformation.
