Off the issue of the toon for a moment. What do you think of O'neils signings at Celtic?? Personally I think he is getting the dross from the premiership but this is good enough for the scottish premiership. I really do think that Celtic and Rangers would be mid table teams in the EPL. I know if we signed hartson, sutton, velda (that crap tottenham defender) and others to poor to mention I'd be well hacked off. Still each to their own!! AM

AM - I don't think Hartson was a bad buy, and for £700k, Guppy was cheap. Hartson has consistently done the biz wherever he has been. If it hadn't been for the injury scares over the last couple of seasons, I'm sure he'd have gone to a bigger club in England. Sutton is cr@p.

Didn't mention Guppy as I think he's quite a good player. Hartson, jury out on him. I think he is a bit of a mercanary as he seems to play only a few games for his new club before he moves to another. Must have made a fortune in signing on fees. AM

You only view Sutton as craap cos of his time at Chelsea. He is perfect for Scotland in much the same way as Mark Hateley was.

You could argue (I wouldn't but you could) that Sutton's arrival at Celtic was what made the 36 point difference between the last two seasons. He really is perfect for Scotland cos he can battle and hold the ball. Strangely Flo hasn't been the same success at Rangers.

Sutton was an inspired buy for O'Neil last year. I think he cost 6 Million (not 10) and his linking play with Larson was magnificent. Larson claims that Sutton is the best striking partner he's played with. Also, remeber how prolific Al was when he played alongside him.

Agree, Manic - Sutton took a lot of abuse at Chelsea but he was a great buy for Celtic and could have been a decent buy for us (although I think he likes Al as much as I like spiders).

I just hope Celtic don't win their league this year. They are terrorist Manure fans in hoops as far as I'm concerned. Not that I really want Rangers to do anything either. Does any other United fan follow Hearts in the SPL, they are the team I look out for but I don't know why except they play at Tyne-Castle. Otherwise it's Berwick.
