Anyone used the new Fujicolor NPZ 800? Doesn't seem to be available yet.

Yes, I tested it for Fuji Film and photographed the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It is the best film ever produced.

"It is the best film ever produced"

Better than Kodachrome 25, Velvia, Pan F or Tri-X?

8^) Methinks that should read "best ISO 800 color neg film ever produced."

Hmm... maybe "best ISO 500 color neg film ever produced."

Interesting film! I used it to cover Britney Spears (No flash) and it pulled some great non-grain shots.

A bit pricey but worth it if you want to use the photos for other reasons such as enlargements etc.

The crime was that these went into a weekly newspaper that reduced the resoultion too much. I should have used K-Mart Focal 400 instead. heheheh

Take a look at this pic taken with NPZ800. It was my first try, and the result in 10*15cm are stunning.

So how does it compare to NHGII?

In my country Fuji npz 800 doesn't seem to be available yet.But i can say that the press 800 is an excellent low grain film. NPZ has the same technology but is made with refined materials which i am sure puts him on top of the list achieving higher standards.
