There is nothing more comforting than reading the Bible and feeling the power and love of God. What scripture passages do you like?

The list grows longer every day, but the top 3 are Psalm 27, Romans 5:1-5, and Hebrews 11.

Is. 40:31; Gen. 12: 1-3; Matt. 11:12.

I could go on.

The entire Bible is a continuing source of "hope" and "strength" for the Psalmist has declared, "How sweet are thy words unto my taste, yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth. Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Thy WORD is a LAMP unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path." (Ps. 119:103 - 105) Yet the greatest hope that we can communicate to a world in need of spiritual food is the Apostle Paul's words to the Thessalonian believers in 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 - 18. It concludes by stating, "Wherefore, COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS."

My favorite Psalms is 73. It came to me at a time when I was trying to have a "Pitty Party". Phillipians 4:8 is my checklist of things to remind me how to think more positively. And when I feel overwhelmed the scripture comes to me that in this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer I (Jesus) have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
