Home Repair Rx

Home repair is a relatively safe sport, provided common sense and basic safety practices are followed. Having that said, common sense would have us prepared to handle an accident. Here are a few basics.

Keep emergency numbers by the phone. Let others know what and where in regard to your activities. If nobody is going to be around, keep a cordless or cell phone close at hand to call for help if needed. Next time you are out shopping, look for those funny-shaped Band-Aids that work so well on knuckles and fingertips. Cuts and scrapes seem to go along with home repairs.
