The 2 Mick's mentiioned that there could be another signing on the way - as soon as next week. I just caught the end of the program so I'm not too sure if a name was mentioned earlier on. Mind, I thought it was funny when they were going on about Giggs' testimonial and how at "23 years old" he could be in line for a 2nd testimonial when he's 33. Where on earth do these blokes get their info from?

Another funny point from the match last night was at half time when the PA guy came on asking for any requests to be sent in ... the lad behind me stood up and screamed "A CENTRE BACK!"

That could well have been me TJC - except the description "lad" doesn't quite fit. Frankly, I thought our defence was as bad last night as last season.

We badly need Andy O'Brien back, and quickly but I understand he has broken down again and is to see a specialist regarding his ankle injury, which seems to be worse than was thought.
I'm sure training on it has done it the world of good!

At a guess I think Metro were probably making fun of Giggs' perennial youthful looks (albeit somewhat more hairy than his pre-Beckham modelling).
