Troyes....and how to get there?

What's the best (quickest!) way to get to Troyes from London for the match next week? all help would be appreciated and re-paid with beer at a later date....

The Eurostar is the quickest. It arrives at the Gare du nord, and the train for Troyes leaves from the Gare de l'Est, only one metro stop away. The train takes about 1h25 to 1h45 depending on the number of stops. Troyes is too small to have an airport.

I'm thinking of driving down. How long from Calais??? Gotta be back for a mtg in Sheff on Wed pm. Should be doable.

It's about three and a quarter hours from Calais, Autoroute all the way, if you stick to the speed limit of 130 km/h.

The last train back to Paris leaves Troyes at 10.15, so you wouldn't be able to get back until the next morning.

Don't suppose you know the time of the 1st train next morning??

There are trains leaving Troyes at 0510, 0601, 0647, 0740, 0800. The Eurostar leaves Paris at roughly quarter past every hour, so the 0510 would get you in London by 0915.
