After a drawn out application for seats (three days on the phone & an email) I secured two tickets for the sports bar (which one I did not know) I told the bloke about ny email, worrying a duplicate application and he told me that it would be refunded if if was doubled. I arrived at the ground to collect said tickets at 7.05pm and the queues were unbelievable, at least an hour. So like any red blooded male I headed for the Strawberry to think it through, t pint of Fosters for me & pal later we returned to the queue; different people, same length. I ask the copper directing pay on the day & collecting punters if the match would be delayed and he back came an absolutely positive NO if you no what I mean. So after walking 20 yds back towards the Strawberry as if prodded by a fairy guardian angel I turned and joined the queue. In their wisdom they decided to allocate all but one on the booths to the collection of prepaid tickets so the queue went down rapidly meaning we only missed the first 20 minutes an Speeds goal which some drunk relayed but no-one believed.

We got to the sports bar to find our hosts sitting on their arse and without programmes which were a part of the deal. We hurredly made our way to the seats but not knowing where they were ask a steward who not even turning round pointed "up there" so we took up residence in the vacant platinum club and were swifty told to move (see they are efficient at some things). Ah flip I still enjoyed mesel.

Do everyone a favour and write to Russell Cushing and complain about your "experience". He's not a bad listener, and we must give them opportunity to hear about these problems and give them a chance to do something about it.

I'm going to take this up as well through the FLC. I spent half an hour in a queue yesterday afternoon picking up tales of woe from people picking up tickets.
