I had a lurk about the board at lunch time and I detect a quite sense of optimism. I am even quite optimistic mesell.1) New world class signing.
2) Robbie sound of course and Craig looking canny
3) Resorves unbeaten I think.
4) Younguns gaining international caps all over the place and winning at under 17 & 19 level.
5) Bonding and commitment - I saw this with my own eyes on Channel Five last week
6) Injuries improving - Cort, Lee, Acuna, Shearer - either ready or making rapid improvement; only little twisty face, erm I mean our most ambitious player to worry about.
7) Two good goalies, two right backs (Barton & Griffin), three left backs (Quinn, Elliot & Bernard), three centre backs & the sisters (not great but better than of late).
8) Width! Solano, Gavilan, Dyer right; Robert, Bernard left.
9) A goodly number of options in the middle of the park together with the possibility of tactical flexiblity. 4-4-2, 3-5-2, 5-3-2, 4-4-1-1 you know what I mean?
10) Pace! balance!
11) Proven & hungry players fighting for places up front. A Canny few variations also tall-short, target man & sniffer etc.
12) A happier more optimistic atmosphere which should allow our many underachievers to improve.
13) The Inter Toto - don't look a gift horse in the mouth imo.
14) Can't think of anything else at the moment.Jormans are never ever to be taken for granted, Ithink tonight's gamewill be bliddy hard ganning

Here's hoping for results for both The Toon and Troyes. Eurosport is showing the Troyes game over here, but not the Toon.
