A Really Daft Question ... but ...

We're in the Semi Final of the TwoBob. With Munich.

Robert's old club PSG faces Gantoise, apparently in the same competition.

Villa are playing in the same competition too. Huh?

So how come there are loads of teams in the 'semi' finals??? I know that you all know this, no doubt there'll be an obvious reason, but for the life of me...

Aaaaaaah. Thanks Gav. Wiser but still confused.

(Actually don't give a toss about being confused if we get that UEFA place?

I was really pissed off with the Inter TwoBob as a competition, but thinking about it, even if we don't get through, surely it's better than playing friendlies against Torquay or a Honk Kong Select XI for preparation for the league? A few competitive matches should give us the best prep we've had in years.

As long as we don't get injuries, that is.

Another trainspotter question: do the yellow and reds accumulated in the Internogo carry to domestic competition? I seem to recall friendlies and reserve games count in the league. I think not, but just checking.

I was a little bit worried about that as well Bob but i'm fairly certain they couldn't possibly carry over....

I'm pretty sure they don't even carry over to UEFA. In UEFA you have one game ban when reaching two yellow but in InterToyota the limit is three...

The Intertwobob and Eufa Cups are separate competitions so I assume cards don't carry over. Robert can't play in the Inter Cup for us but he can if we make it to the Eufa Cup.
