Lolo's dad and general site update

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Is quoted on his site as saying that he would definitely be signing and that he thinks he can still get into the World Cup squad (all of this apparently appeared in the local newspaper in La Reunion, Lolo's home island). Otherwise, no sign of his promised statement and an internet war between PSG's firm and Olympique Marseille's firm: they frankly make SuperKev look like Martin Amis so I don't really know what they are doing other than trading insults.

Ah reading the above two posts rather quickly at 4 in the morning I began subconsciously humming to myself and recollecting fond memories of sitting on my fadda`s knees as a child , as he stuffed mince and tatties into my gob, him still black from the pit , while he sang in a style unsimilar to Owen Brannigan the following ditty_;

Wee Hughie Gallagher , the wee Scot`s lad,

The best center forward Newcastle ivver had,

If he didn`t score a goal,we`d boot him up the hole,

And send him back to Scotland in the morning.

**This confirms Jonno`s posts of late, we are a massive club , we have tenious links with everything , no matter how small, !!!!!

Kev, I am with you on this one, I am aware of Martin Chuzzlewit, Martin Clowns and Martin I, but have looked aal ower the hoose for aforementioned Martin to no avail , (Housemartin get it), gee whiz!! Not prepared to admit my ignorance I shall hazard a guess and base my answer on recent Dougal postings, is he the Sports Editor of the Consett and Stanley Advertiser by any chance? no , floods !!! is he in any way connected with the legal profession ? no, more floods

Martin Amiss will you step through the monitor , aaaahh that`s him

I've heard of Martin Chuzzlewit and Martin Clowns but I never knew we had a King Martin I. Something's amiss, I tell youse.

We should make a bonfire of all this vanity.

How, SuperKev, I never said you were thick: I said that your punctuation was apt to making you look psychotic (all those exclamation marks etc).

Pot calling the kettle black methinks dougs with all your excess capitalisations!! ;))

-- Anonymous, August 01, 2001

Gav, since you did your nut about my capitalisations about a year ago, I think you'll find that I capitalise merely to emphasise because I can't be arsed to start going into italics and bold so you see, your words do make some impact..

-- Anonymous, August 01, 2001

Never tell me anything like that Dougs....i'm awkward enough when I think no-one is listening ;))

-- Anonymous, August 01, 2001

SO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;))

-- Anonymous, August 01, 2001

LOL..The other thing is, I don't actually know how to do bold and italics..
