Whats up with the FLC? When is your next meeting? Wasn't you supposed to have some kind of gettogheter to get to know each other or something?

Answers

We had an informal get together get to know each other. That was back in June as was quite useful, we came away with a lot of confidence in each other.

The first real sit down was 18th July when he was in sunny Norrkopping. This was a 'how to organise orselves' meeting, and to elect chairman and things. This again seems to have been a productive meeting.

I have been made responsible for the web site. At the moment this is under construction but you can see where I've got to at www.fergs.net/flc any resemblance to anything ever suggested by Rik is purely coincidental :0)

We are working on a couple of things at the moment but it is frustratingly slow, the club don't seem sure of what to make of us yet. We will have four formal meetings with the club through the season and meet ourselves a lot between these meetings. Russel Cushing, his PR Manager and his Customer Relations Manager all showed face at the first meeting.

Our next meeting is 6th September but we are in phone contact all the time, nearly non-stop this morning !!

The ticket prices for the upcoming Intertoto cup tie was discussed. The group felt this was an unexpected game and that the club should make an effort to reduce prices for the game. On a quick show of hands it was recommended that club should charge £10 for adults and £5 for children. There were a number of people who supported £5 and £1 prices. Steve Wraith was to take this recommendation to the club.

That was for the Lokeren game, and they'd already decided on prices before we got to them. So the reduced price was actually their idea !
