If Leeds want him so much perhaps we can send him on loan for 7 days? That should save a few (thousand) quid.

If he's hobbling around on crutches, I'd suspect it's a bit more serious than they are letting on.

I find this setback worrying - especially having read Bobby Robson's statement:

"The situation with Dyer is that he has had a slight setback to his rehabilitation. He was unhappy about the condition of his knee so we had an X-ray done.

The results were optimistic. His shin is solid. There is no damage to the bone or the bone graft. He is suffering from a recurrence of pain around the muscle in the area which caused him the intense feeling, and he is on low load bearing for a week. By that I mean that he will be on crutches and must keep the leg off of the floor."
