First Day, Isn't it great!

What could be better (Well actually being in Mankato, but besides that, and I don't mean being in Tahiti at the Miss Nude Universe pageant either Dan), Vikings football in back on track for another run at a ring and they may have been able to fly just under the radar yet again. Sure the schedule is going to be insane, and our Defense is likely to finish yet again near the bottom of the league, but if we can get out of the gates on a roll, I don't see much stopping us until the playoffs. The NFC is weak at best and with the Eagles and Saints being known commodities playing tougher scheds, I think the table sets up nicely for the Vikes. Sure there are the usual suspects, The Yucks and Lambs, Midgets and Pukers but none of those rag tag outfits are straight up better then our Vikes. If we can get a sweep over one of the other NFC Central contenders (Lions, Pack or Buccs), sweep the pathetic but always tough Bears and split with the other two, We should win the Central again. If we can do that I gotta believe this team will finally get over the hump in the playoffs. At some point any competitor that doesn't play for the Cleveland Browns has to realize that indeed, God did give him nads and by golly he will learn to use them for something other than decoration. If the Vikes can't saddle up and whoop up on someone this season in the postseason, I think things could get really fugly in Winter Park. How are all of the Branch Dennidians going to react if Red pulls up with the Tanks to extricate his derrier from his throne? Will the players revolt or will they roll over on him faster than Randy Moss ability to quit in a Conference Championship game? I say let the pieces fall where they may and I am ready for yet another edition of the Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl Express Run.
