I understand that u-direct are no longer showing the 1860 game. Does anyone know if another channel is taking the game ?

As far as I know they are still broadcasting it as it was advertised in all of the papers this morning. Idid have somne trouble subscribing for the game, but I found out that this because the set-top booking arrangements are not activated until 48 hours before kick-off.

BR3 (Bayern) are showing the match live. I knew there was a good reason I moved to Germany! You can pick BR3 up on analogue satellite tv.

....but only if you've got a bliddy long co-ax cable to run across the North Sea ;-)

Just posted this from The Journal this morning on another thread, in case it proves useful to someone:

".... the game is scheduled to go out live on Bavarian Channel BR3. Owners of an old analogue satellite system which allows the Astra 19.2E satellite cluster to be picked up can tune in for free".

Thanks Clarky. In that case, I'd need a shorter cable. It will only have to go back to my old gaff in Cheshire instead of Jormany ;-) I think I'll go to the game instead. It'll be cheaper ;-)

A bit more - probably useless - information:

"You can watch the game free on the german channel BV3, using an old analog system from Sky. The settings are Frequency:11.141, Horizontal PAL, Audio: 7.02 7.20. Just go into system setup and input the above settings".

Bon chance - as Screacher says, I think I'll just gan, it'll be easier!
