Problem with burning image generated by Video Pack 4.0greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread |
I use VideoPack 4.0 and it does not support my CD Burner. hence I decided to make an image and subsequently burn the image using either CDRWIN or Easy CD. After creating the tracks (TRACK01.RAW, TRACK02.RAW .....) I created a .CUE file and used a Daemon to bring up a virtual CD Drive. It ended up being an Audio CD. I downloaded vp4tocue.exe from some site and this software when run alters the TRACK01.RAW and this time the CD came up as a video CD which I could play with powerDVD. I tried burning this using CD to CD copy and failed. I tried to load the CUE file in CDRWIN and this failed too.And both happen only to the end. Has anyone been through a similar problem. Although I have Nero, Easy , I prefer using Videopack 4.0 for its menu features. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

My Drive isnt supported by Video pack either I know this isn`t really the answer your looking for....and although its a bit of a long road for a short cut..it has worked perfecty every single time..I haven`t made 1 coaster to date and all play in both my PC DVD drive and Both my Pioneer and Phillips Standalone players...First I create my layout using Videopack...set up my menus ect..next/previous..ect.....then I create the Raw image that Videopack generates...
I then import these images into WinOnCD 3.7pe..and generate a second image with the .c2d file exstension....When WinonCD starts up and asks what kind of project I select "Custom" and when you import the RAW image select "Track Image"..I also found that version 3.7pe worked better than 3.8pe for some reason...
then because you created a .c2d file you can import those straight into CDmage and create a third and final image the CDRwin or Fireburner can recognise and burn to you CD-r/CD-rw..
as I said long winded but "I WORKS"..i know theres probably a whole bunch of people saying to themselves reading this that theres a better and quicker way to do it (perhaps with VCDimage ect)..but I`ve tried countless other methods and so far this workaround is quick and easy..only one that has worked flawlessly on all my players...and it only takes a couple of extra minutes to generate the images...
Hope this is of Some help..
Alan.
