Profile of Robert from his website

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

(My French is un peu rusty these days so apologies): He likes: his wife, children, movies (particularly those with Al Pacino), French and fusion cooking, his job, sports, meals with friends and family, having a siesta (as long as it's not at 3pm on a Satda, pet..), holidays in the sun, good wine and nice cars. He dislikes: losing, politics, hypocrisy, racism, winter, critics who know nothing about football, reading, snakes and being afraid (??). Bought himself a Ferrari 456 for Christmas. Likes all sorts of music except rock and recently watched "American Beauty" on DVD.

Sounds a bit of a hedonist, like, but quite nice ;)

But Jonno, nobody likes Jeff Winter. ;-))

It was the "critics who know nothing about football" that worried me...

Here's some analysis of Robert from his web forum : good, direct attacker, not so good at taking corners - he always tries to score direct from them! Not so strong on crosses to target men, prefers to have a go himself, and has a good shot. Sticks to the wing. Excellent on the counter attack. Tackles like Cantona.

What the f**k is fusion cooking? Is that where it all goes wrong and everything sticks to together?

LOL. It's sort of the crap they sell in some London restaurants - English meets French meets Chinese (ie. Tripe with sweet and sour sauce and Cabernet Sauvignon dumplings).

...anbd chips? Surely he must know how Geordies love chips - especially Belgian ones ;-)

Sounds like a fancy name for heating up the leftovers in the fridge. ;-)
