Hello all

I will be making about a ten day trip south of Seattle mainly to play in some of the smaller non-indian casinos that I have heard about. If anyone has any info on the games down there I would appreciate hearing it. Also anyone in the area at that time let me know I will be happy to make contact. BJDavid I will make a point of a stopover in Yelm this trip !!

Don't bother trying the double deck at Red Wind. I checked it out a few weeks ago just because I hadn't played there in a year or so. Worse than ever, they were cutting at least 1.5 decks off.

Red Wind

I sent a private e-mail to Jake on the Red Wind. However, I was there briefly about 2 weeks ago and two DD tables were being played. A third with 25 min had no players. One dealer was giving just over 50% and the other dealer was giving about 66%, but I only noted the shuffle point two or three times.

The question is, are there any local minis that are giving a worthwhile DD game? How about Drift On Inn and Goldies? Anybody know what these games are like and what are the limits? dj

Red Wind Info

Jake,

I don't have the e mail I sent you. However, it pretty much said the same thing as my recent post here, if I remember right. The 6 deck shoe is trackable with a two pile, one pass, but has quad. plugging. It seems the bottoms are ok as well as the last cards into the tray. The problem is some of the dealers there make real big grabs. The rules are lousy and the cut card is at about 1.5 or worse. If you track, it might possibly be ok. There are only 3 shoe tables and they are usually crowded. Dave

Hello, Had a pretty good trip +$5k after expenses. Thanks to all who gave me good info on the games. I was surprised at how many good shuffles are around. I had no heat whatsoever. I will certainly be back. The games at the Drift On Inn and Goldies are not worth a stop. six card charlies was great as was Pete's Flying Aces. the low stakes are not bad since they hav no problem with two hands of max. I was disappointed with Muckleshoot pen. I saw 21 places so once again I never made it to red wind and a visit with David. Maybe next trip

I am off to England for a few specials then down south again. the Horseshoe in shreveort has a very trackable game and good limits. there are also someamazing sequencing opportunities down there.

I am toying with the idea of escaping winter and running a shuffle tracking workshop in southern CA in in January. I figure I can handle max 10 guys for 4 days on this one. Four of the first group have offered to help for free they enjoyed the workshop so much. Hope the energy levels hold up.

Anyways thanks again Playerette/PV/BJdavid for the help.

Congrats Jake

5k after expenses is real good. How many hours did you get in? I am also curious about where you tracked and where you did straight counting. I had a successful trip recently that included Wendover, (did real well with great rules, etc.) then Reno, then a week of family vacation on Tahoe north shore. Played quite a few hours in Reno out of there. Did well at Nugget and Atlantis, but not so good at Boomtown. Nugget and Atlantis are great single deck with good rules, pen, and fairly fast dealers. They take green and black action OK. Did not try Peppermill cause I am too shy to play there after getting backed off a couple years ago. Recent play there by others I know has resulted in backing off in 2 or 3 hours of total or combined play. Dave
