I had my own business for 15 years, an Italian deli, then got my MBA here in Washington DC. I would like to work in culsulting in some capacity, but no matter how I network or send away resumes, I have gotten no interest from employers. Now I have student loans and nothing but temporary work to pay my bills. Ideas?

It sounds like you're trying to swim upstream. I wonder if there's anything in your thought process that may be creating your experience of "no interest from employers."

After being fairly independent for so many years, I'm curious to know how it feels to consider working for someone else? Said another way, is your heart calling you to maintain your independence? If so, what does that look like? What would you really like to do?
