Acrobat reader

I am having trouble reading Acrobat documents. Everyone says there was an error reading. Should I just delete the Acrobat reader and reload? Or are there other things I should be doing or other files I should delete too?

Don't just delete it, make sure you go to ADD/REMOVE programs from the CONTROL PANEL, from MY COMPUTER. This way it is un-installed correctly. It wouldn't hurt to try that, do you have a way to install it again? It is free all over the web I believe. Can you click on DETAILS on the error message and see what the error is?

Oops, yeah, I meant REMOVE rather than DELETE. I downloaded the Acrobat program originally -- didn't come on my computer -- so I figured I'd just go to the Acrobat site and download again.

Don't know if I can find details. It pops up a box that says there were problems reading the file, and I'm supposed to click OK box. That's all I get, besides not getting to see the pages I want to see. I haven't tried right click to see what pops up (I frequently forget about right click).
