I am going to be teaching Sunday School for Senior High during the month of August as our Youth Minister is leaving. The kids are quite attached to him and I would like to have some lessons on Transition/Change to help them until the new 'full time' guy gets here.

Any input on Examples of Transition/Change from the Bible that I could use to put into a lesson(s) would be appreciated. One that I will be using for sure will be the disciples being prepared by Jesus for his death.

Another would be the transition between the leadership of Moses when he turned the reigns over to Joshua. With this one you could also discuss the differences between their leadership styles ... the different ways God used them while they were leading ... and how Moses helped the people see Joshua as a new leader when it was time for them to finally cross over to the promise land.
