Mags...did you feel it at all, or was it too far away?

Might of been just my imagination but, yesterday I felt the ground slightly move under my feet. I didn't look at the clock to see what time it was. I just hope the earthquakes don't come across the Kansas/ Missouri boarder into my neck of the woods.

Earthquake Strikes Kansas Town It may sound strange, but an earthquake rumbled through a town in southeastern Kansas Tuesday.

KMBC reported that an earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale hit the south central Kansas town of El Dorado. There were no reported injuries or damage.

The quake hit along what's called the Humboldt fault zone, which runs from near Oklahoma City, Okla., through Kansas to Lincoln, Neb.

"My best guess is that this was a little bit of popping along a very ancient fault zone," Kansas Geological Survey's Dr. Lee Allison said.

Officials said that an earthquake measuring 3.0 is just barely strong enough to feel.
