Bomb Scare at Military Base

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Current News : One Thread

I just spoke to a man that I work with after overhearing a bit of conversation he was having with his son. The son had been trying to get in touch with the mother. She works out at Tinker AFB (where hubby is stationed).

In the mile long building there, there was a suspicious package in the mail room. They locked everyone out of the building at 10am, and they are still out at about 2:30pm, thinking that it is a bomb. I looked on the local news pages, and nadda. You'd think that after 4 1/2 hours they'd know if it was a bomb or not.

If I find anything important, I'll let ya know.

Somehow, I wouldn't expect a bomb scare INSIDE a military facility.
