...he'll be fit for Leeds. ´'m resigned to him leaving. But if he goes to Leeds i'll lose all respect for a few people. DON'T SELL HIM THERE.

Chronic talking about Rob Lee's testimonial. Obviously we want him in the shop window as early as possible, to inconvenience Leeds as little as possible.

Can't have Leeds missing out on his services in the all important first few games of the new season, can we ?

Don't ask me how I know this but I'll be in trouble if I let on.

Word from a few of the Leeds reserves is we've told Leeds that there is no way we're selling now but if were having another shit season by January a deal which involves Woodgate plus 2 others will go through. They expect to know what the Woodgate situation by then. Leeds are to get first shout on £20m+ bids but there must be cash plus players as Ipswich get a cut so the transfer will be reported as much less. Dyer will not be sold to Manure, Freddy Shep doesn't like 'em apparently.

Even if we keep Dyer we may be after Woody.

Well, if we sell him something like that sounds ok.

Aye just what we need, an alleged racist thug in a team with a high proportion of young black players.

I don't think anyone claims the attack was driven by Racism - apart from the father in the Mirror but you know what happened there.

Woodgate is a thumping good player - he'd be a smashing acquisition.

Clarky, why do I agree with you so much these days? spot on again.

Just wait until the retrial ends, there are a lot of skeletons in Mr Woodgate's closet which the papers cannot print without predujicing the case. Suffice to say he is a nasty piece of work.

Real skeletons? I knew he was a bit violent, but storing bodies in his cupboard? :-)

I sat on a jury for an alleged racist motivated assault. One of my fellow jurors immediately called the defendent a 'nasty piece of work'. Interestingly he called up character witnesses, one asian lad (who he regularly drinks with) and a black feller. The defendent and the black chap go on holiday with their families together, and the witness even brought along holiday snaps.

We acquited in 2 minutes.
