Preferences for 28mm, camera finder or external finder.

Now that I´m walking with the 28 on my camera, and using it "seriously", not just as a second camera/lens, but as my only one, I´ve used both finders, camera´s and hotshoe, to compose; I like the external finder because I can see the all thing, something I am so used to since my most used lenses are 50/2, 35/2 and 35/1.4 pre-asphs, now with this 28 third generation and shade I miss a lot of the frame, about 20%, well on the other hand the plastic finder feels so delicated and rest ergonomy to the camera, so I took it off and begun to use the camera´s finder, now it feels more natural, and I like having the rangefinder at sigth when needed, so I´m tring to get use to the camera´s finder successfuly, after all this is not a camera in wich you must be seeing through the finder all the time,

I understand this "new" lens will make me relearn this camera usage, and I want to thank Steve LeHuray for make me think about it.

Some one has any experiences in this matter.

Hi, Roberto, you must have thought you were on the Leica forum. I like the built-in finder, because using an accessory finder would just be one more thing to keep track of.
