Box office heaving. 4 windows going. At least 100 people served in the 10 mins I was there and plenty more on their way up. Got to be close to 30,000 tomorrow. Two-bob my arse!

Softie - thanks for the offer, but no thanks!! Perhaps you should have a (discreet) word with Galaxy ;-)

I wish I hadn't said that :-) Have to be Baldric, then.

Before it crashed, icNowt are saying we may break the attendance record for the Intertoto competition. It currently stands at just over 26,000 for a match last season featuring an Italian club(Udinese?...can't remember and now can't get back to that page to check)

Why are you suprised? you must've seen the trouble me and kats had getting tickets...if we had the ground open i'd bet on 45k+...

36k no problem...

I posted just the other day to say how I thought the standing of this competition is rapidly rising IMHO. :-)

Any players not wanting to join because we are a small club need their heads examining for small brains.

The record is held by Udinese at just over 26000, so the record looks as though it will be slaughtered now they have a big club in this competition. :-)

Our capacity tomorrow is only 36000 BTW (east stand refurbishment). Tickets are on sale tomorrow up till 7pm but it looks quite possible there will be a sellout by then. Remember - this is Summer and many people are away on holiday, it's the "Inter2bob", the tie is all but over following the first leg, AND it's televised. Extraordinary.

Booked our holiday ages ago as obviously did many of the players never dreaming we would be in the Intertoto. Give the lads a shout from me!

2 questions:

1. What time is the Inter-two bob game?

2. Can you arrange tickets over the web, if so what is the addy?

I am posting this after coming back from the pub, after being given the task of organising tickets for half the ppl in the place :/help would be appreciated.

19:00 KO I believe. They reckon tickets will be on sale right up to that time (well, almost). As for the web, now there's a novel idea ;-)

Actually, I tried to buy tickets last night for a Baseball game in Minnesota. All the facilities were there right on the web. That is until I tried to send my request. Then it said I had to love in either US or Canada. WHy didn't the bu99ers tell me before I started? Mind, if it had worked it would have been cool. You get a map of the stadium and wen you click on an area it shows a view of the pitch from that area.

Of course, when you've sold all your tickets in advance such a system isn't so necessary (well I bet that's what NUFC would say).

1. 7pm (I think) 2. Nope. Just gotta go in person, unless they're still taking orders by phone. Probably get served faster if you show up at the window, though. ;-)
