I have 3 birds now, started with 4.The birds were bought at a livestock sale in really bad health, they were raised in small wire cages and due to that most of their feathers were broken also they were unable to walk. Fast forward...they feathered out started to walk and seemed alot better till last week one hens feet swelled up she stopped walking and died well now the tom is doing the same thing. I have checked their feet no sign of any bug,cut or trauma.I had the vet out for the cows and she said to worm them I did no sign of improvement. These are captive bred wild turkeys, they free range and at night come in,I have put them on medicated pellets and meds. in their water...any ideas?

Are their cheeks all puffed up like swollen? Our wild turkeys got sinus and we had to take the yellow medicine for the drinking water and put in their cheeks with a needle. It did save the ones that were left. We had some die, they are very hard to raise I think. We traded them off for something else, the ones that made it. It's been a long time since we had big turkeys.
