ISIHAC - Round2 - Late arrivals

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Well teams - at the end of that round I see that Galaxy is way out in front - but I've no idea what the scores are at the moment.

Incidentally, the teams, Galaxy and myself have been enjoying our visit to Sunderland. Galaxy tells me she's had a rewarding poke around the back streets this afternoon, whilst the rest of us took in a training session of the football club right here at the Stadium of Light. Marvellous fun - haven't laughed so much in ages - this show would do well to produce half as many laughs. Perhaps the manager was drinking all those cups of PG Tips to calm his nerves. Whilst we were watching, Pit Bill took it upon himself to have a relaxing sit doon in as many of the stadium seats as he could. They must be very comfortable because he looked well pleased with himself afterwards. Come to think of it he got through gallons of tea himself...

Just a word to our studio audience at The Stadium of Light - we have now been able to negotiate your release after the show - the football club apologises for the confusion and would like to issue all of you with 2 free season tickets to watch Sunderland next season, by way of compensation. Oh dear - what's upset them all now - they're a touchy lot up here aren't they?

Now settle down audience please - this is a live broadcast. If you can just keep your eye on our audience response control operative - supplied to us this evening by near neighbours Newcastle United - there he is - Mr Warren Barton - he will tell you all when to clap. (We should have brought that monkey we saw this afternoon to show them when to laugh).

Right teams. Let's have a round of Late Arrivals for the Doctors Ball. Don't worry Dr Bill - it's a dance not a raffle ...

I see the Scope family have turned up in numbers again this year. There's Colin O Scope and obviously his Norwegian cousins Oto and Endo. And there's the one that emigrated to America, he's a cowboy now, Bronco Scope. He's brought his girlfriend, Emma Royds - must be all that horseriding. And the girl that became a nun, that would be Sister Scope. She's just taking the, er, mickey. That'd be a more distant cousin, Mike Row-Scope.
