Spike vs. Lance

greenspun.com : LUSENET : orienteer kansas : One Thread

Well, here we are, waiting for results from Day 2 at Ost-Gota as well as results from the first mountain stage of the Tour (of "that other country"). Who will reel in more time on the leaders, Spike or Lance?

If Lance were an orienteer, would he be OK? Oh, well sure he'd be at least "okay", but I mean, would he run for OK? Probably not, since he's a Texan and likes that live music scene down in Austin.

Looks like Lance put down his feet one after the other today, and did it often and fast enough to win the first mountain stage.

After the win, here's what he said: "No Bosse is going to stop me, dadgummit! If I win this year's Tour, I will mull a move to Florissant."

Despite persistent questioning by the press corps, he refused to answer whether he meant Missouri or Colorado. Armstrong ended the press conference with: "I've laid down the dots and it's up to you to connect them however you think best. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must be On My Way!"
