I don't shave it, unless armpit hair counts as pubic hair. Anyway, I'm afraid of the itch factor but not afraid of a little hair.

Heh, um, armpit hair isn't pubic hair.. pubic relates to the area of your body.. pubic bone and such..

I usually keep the, er, lower areas shaved, for aesthetic and sexual reasons, but not the area above my dick. I occasionally shave the area above, though, because I find it very erotic, but I don't do the upkeep because of irritation and itching.

I've shaved it for so long that I had to start shaving it regularly. I decided to go get it waxed. Ouch. I couldn't walk for a day, but after that it was nice and smooth for a long while.

I thought that armpit might count as pubic hair (and I still think it *does*) because you get it during PUBErty....

pubic hair relates to the pubic bone, not puberty.

i had the upper area done away with through electrolisis. it took a few diff. sessions and hurt like a bitch, but i'll never have hair there again! for the rest i go to my brazilian waxing specialist. seriously. she's brazilian and gives me the brazilian treatment...meaning every last hair is GONE. i do it once a month (waxing lasts a long while on me, don't have much body hair) and it costs around 50$ a pop, but it's worth it just for the feel of it...during sex being totally 'clean' is an amazing, totally worthwhile thing.

I can't imagine going to someone like that. Lying on a table and having them rip/burn/shock/rub out/whatever your pubic hair. Just sitting there all naked while some stranger goes to town.

Eric..."got a 3 o'clock with my hairdresser, and a 4:30 with my pubic hairdresser..."

Yeeeeeeeeeeouch. I've read about Brazilian waxing.....is it really that great? In the article I read (http://www.salon.com/health/feature/1999/09/03/bikini/index.html), the author was hit by a car after getting waxed...she said the waxing hurt more.

The words pubic and puberty are not related in English, they just sound similar, basically. Pubic/pubis comes from the Latin os pubis, puberty comes from puber, both meaning the same thing as our English words. Beyond that and their conceptual relation, they have nothing to do with each other.

Ok, ok! I just thought I'd cover my bases. Yeesh.

I wasn't trying to be harsh or scolding, just informative. ::shrug::

ahh, the brazilian wax. thorough and humiliating. haha. the lady i go to has actually asked me to spread stuff and pull skin taught for her and stuff. they wax your buttcrack too !!

i don't like mine completely bare, because that's creepy for me. it's a personal preference, and if a guy ever insisted upon it, i'd kick his ass to the curb.
