American Models recently announced production of E8's in S guage, including the Central of Georgia in IC colors as used on the City of Miami route. Any of you S guagers out there (are there many of you?) will want to take a look at this. I am not sure how accurate they will be, as they are as AM usually makes "production pieces", but they are usually pretty credible. You can check it out on their website at www.americanmodels.com. You can order direct or if you like, I can refer you to a shop that does e-business in S scale/guage that is reliable. They are expected to be released within the month, but sometimes AM is delayed with releases. If anyone is really up on the detail of these units, I'd like to hear how they measure up to the prototype.
