When I was youge & so Naive, I wrote to the Pink suggesting that rather than Gary Slow, We should look to buy Trevor Sinclair & a little known French lad called Tierry Henry from Monaco. Dogleash didn't heed my advice & bought the welsh wizard.

Now it seems that Bobby is going for clever Trevor, we should have had from Blackpool.

I remember having similar thoughts about Henry after watching him skin Watto in the UEFA. I still quite like Sinclair, though he's a mid-table kind of signing, if you know what I mean.

Tend to agree with swift. Hasn't done much over the last couple of seasons. Decent player, but right-sdied, and looks a bit pricey to me now at £5 million. At £3-4 million he could be a canny investment as a versatile squad player.
