You just passed me! Were you on the highway? That's where I have been,as we had to take Bre half way to Arkansaw to go visit her Dad. Soooo good to be home! Japanese Beetles and all! Was surprized when I checked back in. Alot has happened! I still haven't figured it all out yet. As for Gene Logsdon, how do you like that book Kirk? "You can go home again" talks alot about his past. He just reveals a little in each one. Do you like him so far? So cool that you found a book of his at a thrift store. Is that "the flow" or what! Well we trade turns driving. My Jim does the big part of it , I must admit. I don't do driving through the cities too well. I am like a horse, need to put blinders on me!. Country blood runs deep in me, my brain has not adjusted to the fact that something ,over there, does not afect me. Ones instincts really have to change on the highway. Being a child of the woods, I pick up on little movements, that I am not soppose to pay attention to in this modern world. Makes me a very nervous and jumpy driver. On the highway I always try to find the speed that will keep me off to myself.Know what I mean! Jim does much better then me, I consider him a city boy, I rub his neck with essential oils along the way, that helps him. We have to make this journey twice a year and the highway is such an ugly place, so we have our little rituals to make it bearable, we have two favorite restaurants that are unique and have wonderful food that we always visit, then when we get to our destination we relax in the motel pool. Our little Lea really looks forward to swimming with Daddy. So that helps her make it through the long car ride. Remember when you were a kid how you loved to sleep in the car. Well those days are gone for me, everytime I fall asleep I think that Jim is driving off the road and wake up with a start! Often I wish that they had never invented cars, horse and buggy would suit me fine! Of course every one says how long it would take to get somewheres, well, then my parents wouldn't have gotton so far when they moved us to Mo. as a child, and my little Bre's Daddy wouldn't be all the way out there!

I am so glad that you are enjoying your Gene Lodgsdon book Kirk, he is great, so common, yet so wise.

Love TRen
