At least you can get the pound sign to show without all of the scandinavian gobbledegook around it. :-))

Whey yer bugga. That funny A only appears when you open the posting. It isn't there on the list of postings in the thread.

One for the propeller heeds, if there're any sad enough to care. :-)

Or something.

Anyone remember Wilson, Betty and Keppell. Important folk icons from the NE.

Pint for anyone who can tell me their trade.

Sand-dancers. Real ones, I mean, not a trio from South Shields. :-))

Or maybe they were a trio of sand dancers who were a trio of sand dancers. :-))

You're on te.
BTW, the air fairs to Turin look too good to be true, but the Ryanair Hotel pages don't have Turin as a major city. Most of what came up looks a bit far out. Did you mean the Rough Guide book for Hotels etc ?

I didn't get very far looking elsewhere on the internet for suitable accommodation in the vicinity of Turin - most of what I found seemed to be aimed at skiers.

PB

Yes, I meant the Rough Guide to Italy (travel book). Use your birthday book token to buy also the Lonely Planet Guide to Italy.

I'm away for a week from tomorrow (Sat) and incommunicado (on a yacht race - hence my plea for a results service on another thread) but If you're serious about a visit to N. Italy let me know.

I'll be around here until mid August.

Meridiana (http://www.meridiana.it/cgi-bin/meridiana/meridiana.htm) do good deals between Gatwick and here.
