So I'm ready to buy and I can't decide between these two! I would greatly appreciate experienced feedback. My main issues:

From what I've read, RT2000's real-time effects are analog only, they must render out to DV? But DC1000 is real-time to DV?

Also DC1000DV is native 4:2:2 MPEG-2, which is better than RT2000's native DV. So how does this affect my capturing and editing DV on the DC1000DV?

Also I like that DC1000DV directly upgrades to DC2000 with component i/o and RT2000 doesn't appear to have such an upgrade path.

get dc1000 , i love pinnacle systems, never had a problem if you get the right system.
